Q&A
If I have an injury, will I be able to TRE?
You will most likely be able to do TRE! We have modifications for every exercise, so that TRE is accessible to everyone. It would be my preference that you talk to your doctor prior to doing TRE. Safety is my highest priority!
If I have osteoporosis, can I do TRE?
Yes, it is possible, but it depends on the severity of your osteoporosis. It would be my preference that you check in with a doctor, but I know some people with osteoporosis are already active and do yoga, etc. If you are the more active type, TRE would work for you. As in yoga, we can make modifications in TRE. I have a series of modifications that I use for my clients with this condition.
If I am a therapist and I do a session with you, can I practice TRE with my clients?
No, in order to provide TRE, you need to become TRE certified. Please see the following link for requirements on how to get certified: https://traumaprevention.com/get-tre-certifiedfrom-david-berceli/
Why does your logo have a dog and a horse? Do you do TRE with dogs and horses?
My logo has a dog and a horse, because the point is to show the connection we have with animals generally speaking. I personally am deeply connected to horses and dogs, so my logo includes those 2 animals specifically. If you go to my instagram, I have a short video on a horse shaking and another of my dog shaking. Like humans, dogs and horses shake off stress.

Technically no. Funny enough, when I do TRE, my dog loves to lay next to me. I'm sure if you do TRE at home, your pets will feel very at peace being next to you while you do TRE.
Is it ok if I drink or use substances after TRE?
After TRE, it is important to allow yourself & your body to fully integrate the full experience of TRE after the session. Thus, we recommend that you refrain from the use of substances after TRE.
